Have you split payment with a Friend on Fuse, and they are refusing to pay their share? All Fuse+ are eligible for being reimbursed up to $50 for unpaid shares for each transaction.

Before submitting a claim, we recommend:

  • Contacting the person involved in the split and working directly with them to get paid back.

  • Attempted to get reimbursed through other payment apps, e.g., Venmo, Cash App, or Zelle.

If the parties involved aren't able to resolve the issue, make a claim, and we'll work to make things right on your behalf. This process can take up to 90 days.

Submitting a claim

All Fuse+ customers must make claims within 60 days of their purchase. You are not protected if you claim this.

To make a claim, contact us via chat in the Fuse app and tell us you want to make a claim under the Payment protection policy. We will ask you for evidence that you have contacted the parties involved and tried to be reimbursed through other payment apps.

Once we have all the necessary evidence, we will review your claim.

We will aim to decide on your claim within 40 days (but this can take longer if there are delays in you providing information to us). We'll let you know the outcome via chat in the Fuse app (but we will not provide reasons for our decision). The outcome will be one of the following two things:

  • Your claim will be accepted, and up to $50 will be paid towards the unpaid shares.

  • Your claim will not be accepted, and you will not be refunded at all.

Important note: We may file a Small Claims Case in court against the owner of the unpaid shares. We may also report their outstanding payments to the credit bureaus, negatively affecting their credit score. So ensure sure this policy is not abused under any circumstances.
